The AI Assistant is your go to tool for quick help with everyday legal tasks. Use it to ask questions, review documents, or get fast case insights. It works best when you give it good context, and while it can handle a wide range of requests, be sure to use our specialized tools when you need deeper research or drafting.
To access the AI Assistant, go to your home screen. Under General Tools, select the Assistant tile shown below.

Here you can attach files, summarize documents, cases, and URLs.
You can explore different prompts by selecting Prompt Library to view our built in ready to use options.
In the bottom right of the chat box, select Balanced Analysis to choose the output style you want from AI Assistant.
Balanced Analysis
This is the default setting. It provides a reliable mix of categorizing, researching, and validating your request.
Deep Reasoning
Best for complex tasks. This mode gives the AI more time to think through your request and craft a stronger, more detailed response.
Quick Review
Short on time? If you do not need cases or statutes, select Quick Review for a faster response.
Note: StrongSuit uses a database of more than eleven million cases and statutes. All cited cases are checked through our tool to confirm whether they are still good law.
After entering your request, press enter or return on your keyboard. AI Assistant will generate key issues, relevant cases, and other helpful insights. Just like that, you have insightful information visible to you. Scroll through the response to review everything.

To copy or export your results, scroll to the bottom of the AI Assistant’s response. Select Copy to paste the text into another document, or choose Export to download a DOCX file.
