To get started, select Case Coach from the home screen.
Once you click on this, you will have the ability to add a new matter. This is similar to opening a new client matter internally, allowing you to organize and work through the case within the platform. Select on Add Matter.
From there, enter a name for your matter and add a brief description to help identify and organize it.
Once completed, you will be taken to the Upload Your Documents tab.
Once there, you will choose the audience you want to target by selecting Judge or Witness. You will also select the stage of the trial by clicking Select Trial Stage on the right side of your screen.
You will then upload your own briefs or other relevant materials, along with any counterparty documents if applicable. You may also add additional context, and if you have a written oral argument or an existing transcript, you can upload that as well.
Once you have completed the uploads, select Start Case Breakdown at the bottom of the page to proceed.
At this stage, the platform breaks down the case for you in detail. This includes a case summary, background, legal issues, your arguments, case analysis, factual disputes, legal disagreements, inferred strategic arguments, potential judicial questions, weaknesses in your arguments, consolidated legal authorities cited, and broader expert considerations.
After reviewing all of the information, the next step is to proceed to the Oral Argument section.
You will then be taken to the oral argument simulator. Begin speaking by selecting the microphone. On the right hand side of the screen, you can adjust the Judge Style and the Argument Type.
You will present your argument, and once complete, you will be taken to the final step for feedback and analysis.
This step breaks down your oral argument by highlighting strengths, weaknesses, suggestions for improvement, and key areas to watch out for. You will also have the option to export this analysis.
For any questions about this workflow, you can start a chat by clicking the support bubble in the bottom right corner of your screen. We are happy to help!
